Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

Fairly chunky calves and have to wear leather boots around the house for weeks to stretch them before they are comfortable to wear for any time.
These have a stretchy part at the back that may not be seen in the pic of them.
I could've worn these on the day I received them xx

I would recommend these under normal circumstances. Such beautiful boots BUT the two boots were of a different height, length, and size. They were stained near the zip on both boots - the box they arrived in was really badly damaged - someone had even tried to sellotape the corners. Across the bridge where the boots have the beautiful pipping design this was totally ski whiff. Who checked these before they were sent out? And yes it is a faff to have to take photos to have it verified that these are faulty and then have to download and print out the return docs that include a page with boxes to fill in so I can have my refund. I never write a bad review unless I really have to - unfortunately, here I did.

I saw these boots online for ages and i just loved them. They went on sale so decided "treat yoself"
Am glad i did. First time i wore them i ended up walking 23000 steps. No blisters in brand new boots. Actual miracle. They feel amazing

Lovely looking boot but with that thick elastic on the back it really digs into your heels where the elastic meets the leather...it doesn't want to bend when you walk so that makes them really uncomfortable unfortunately. But a great looking boot that will not get worn hardly

I have purchase many boots and shoes from Moda enPelle and have been very happy with my purchases. Unfortunately, these boots are extremely narrow in the foot width. Very uncomfortable to put on. The quality of the boot looks really good, but unfortunately returned due to narrow width of foot area

These boots looked great online and I was pleased when they arrived that they fitted my wider calf. However the foot part of the boot is very bulky and not as nice as in the photo.
I wouldn鈥檛 order again as although it鈥檚 known you pay for returns, I feel 拢12.45 to return these is just not worth it.

I LOVE these boots and I had kept an eye on them for ages. I was so excited to try them on, but unfortunately the calf part is just far too wide at the top. It gapes about the knee and therefore makes my lower legs look much bigger than they are. I certainly do not have narrow calves at all.
If you need a larger calf width, these may well be absolutely perfect for you.
