Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

I am always size 7 in moda in pelle trainers, I have several pairs and whilst the fit varies slightly between the styles, these trainers were ridiculously large. I even used a substantial innersoles and the trainers still slipped off my feet. I thought that this was maybe due to the slip on style, but I do have other slip on trainers in this brand which do not slip off. I could also tell that these trainers had been a previous return as the bottom of the sole was slightly dirty and the leather on the shoes was creased; there was also no packaging in or around the shoes. Moda need to sort out their inconsistent sizing issues, especially as the customer has to pay for returns! Very poor customer service.

I ordered 2 pairs as the reviews say they can be quite big I鈥檓 always a size 6 but the 5 fitted me perfectly so that鈥檚 good to know. I loved how comfortable they are but I sent them back because I changed my mind also I prefer a rounder toe these are slightly pointier

The trainers come in too big. Returned to store ( bought on line). Money still not returned to my bank.
Sent for a 4 on line ( as shop didn鈥檛 have a 4 ) and still awaiting confirmation that they are on their way! Tried phoning; nobody answers, tried r-mailing-no answer.

Great value to get laceless leather trainers that are made well (budget Russell and Bromleys that stand up to the comparison). I like the platform for comfortable height, and the leopard on the heel adds that bit of extra style. I am a 6 and usually go for a 5 in trainers, but I had to get the 39 (6) and will need to wear an insole, but my feet do not look too big with them on and they are beyond comfortable. A great buy for leather trainers to take me through spring an summer (and winter actually lol)

These look great but not very comfortable. As they are slip in and quite bulky it's not easy to walk, they continously tend to slip off your foot.

I liked the look of these however when they arrived not so much, I'm a 5.5 in shoes which generally means in trainers i'm a 5 these were to big and the leather across the sided of the trainers is not taute so there is a look of a sort of wave or riple effect making the trainers look badly made when taking these back i looked at the pair on display and they looked the same as the pair i had purchased so thats how they are meant to look. I have may of they type of trainers from other brands and none of them have that as i said it make the trainers look badly made
