Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

DO NOT BUY! or order one size up. Do not return as you'll need to pay about 20拢 for tracked and signed as they will not refund you. Do not refund as you will not get all the money you've paid even if you've paid for the return.
Now for the shoe. The quality is ok considering the SALE COST. For context: I've previously bought this brand in-store and was happy with the style and how comfortable the shoes were. I am a fan of the Vagabond brand, but as it takes a bit to break in, just like Martens, decided on a whim to buy a pair as the leather was butter soft, the look was stylish and I've got no blisters breaking them in.
Note: the shoes I previously got are showing significant usage and multiple leather cracks even though they have been worn casually, running errands on weekends. I'd say 2 hrs of use a week if.. that.

This model though, was at least 1 size smaller(Note I have normal feet, not wide not narrow, and I am a usual size 6 in Nike, Zara, Dior, Balenciaga, Clarks, Vagabond, Martens, UGG, Converse).

The reason why I would be careful about ordering from them again is that my last order had 3 pairs of shoes : this one which I barely got my feet in, and measuring on my other shoes was about 1 cm smaller, Althea White leather (which was a full 1.5 cm bigger and Avabelle of white fabric, which was 1 cm bigger)

And then, after returning and paying 拢19.78 Tracked and signed Royal Mail (as otherwise they will not refund you) I was refunded 拢161 for an order I had paid 拢218, which is about 拢50 less

My advice: don't buy. Considering the quality, style, time wasted tracking parcels, and returns and refunds, and cost of returning, their customer service (which is a useless bot) , the amount of the refund you will get after aprox 3 weeks (as their processing time allows) is simply NOT WORTH IT.

Living in London having orders delivered is necessary, but for this company, it's an expensive hit or miss Save yourself the trouble (and money and just go to a mall or order from more trustworthy and reliable brands)

These shoes very quite narrow so returned. I would like to say that the returns process is poor, a photocopied label with no barcode doesn't inspire confidence, and the onus on the customer to provide a tracking service is very out of date.

Disappointed with these. My white ones were perfect. Ordered black, the tongue wasn't stitched properly and the leather was marked. Clearly the QC is poor.

They were very comfy and looked nice, however the problem was the tongue on the trainer was poking upwards and not lying flat so looked odd and would annoy the life out of me! That鈥檚 why i sent them back. I have lots of Mode in Pelle trainers which are made well and very comfortable but I have found on some of them the white soles & edging turn yellow which is unattractive. But won鈥檛 stop me ordering in future as some are ok.
