Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

Loved the trainers but have had to send them back as the tongue bit does not seem big and does sit right. You can see the elasticated bit when wearing them and I don't have wide feet.

Lovely quality shoe, however , recently I have had to return most of my purchases including this trainer , as I have always been a size 39/6 in this brand , but unfortunately these too were a very small fitting . Also you have to pay for them to be returned, which not makes me less inclined to purchase

The tongue of the trainer is not wide enough. It does not sit flat. They look awful on. Not the usual Moda quality and I order a lot

Unfortunately the tongue of the shoe just doesn鈥檛 sit right when you move your foot. It crumples and sits completely askew. So something is not quite right in the construction of the shoe. Shame, as the shoe is otherwise comfortable and looks good when not being worn. I would return but too hard from Australia.

I loved the look of these shoes and was excited to receive them as I'd been looking for a pair like these for some time. However when they arrived, they were marked /damaged and both tongues were very baggy and misshapen. I returned them and asked for a replacement pair only to be informed that they were out of stock with no more expected. I'm extremely disappointed. There was clearly a lack of quality control in this instance which makes me reluctant to order more items in the future in case the same happens again.
