Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

These are beautiful sandals and very stylish and I love them. But they are so uncomfortable on my feet - rubbed my big toe after 5 minutes and also the ankle straps felt very uncomfortable. ( I have very thin ankles). I read reviews saying how comfortable they are, so maybe it's just me! I am stll undecided whether to persevere or return them.

As soon as I removed the shoes from the box I could see they were very large for the size and sounfortunately they had to be returned. Shoe itself is attractive but the sole which is very similar to a previous pair of Moda sandals I have is not so flexible

Nice enough sandals but the beige heel and grey snakeskin colours dont really work together. I have had to return the last 3 purchases I made because a size 5 is way to big for me. I have quite a few Moda boots and sandals in a size 5 which fit me perfectly. I assume you have changed your sizing. I won't reorder as every return costs me around 拢3.50. Why are you charging for returns? I'm afraid I won't be ordering any longer from Moda and Pelle

Very uncomfortable across the toes. I was aware the shoes were patterned, but the difference between left and right is so significant, they look like odd shoes! I went to take them back to the store to find it closed down so now need to pay to send them back. Not impressed.
